I got This little book for free when we bought our stand mixer (I think). It is a collection of recipes from Charitable Bookings Signature Dish USA. Its a compilation of recipes from restaurants across America compiled by David Johnstone. First up was Skillet Chicken Pot Pie. This is a great take on a chicken pie. I think the fact that it is made in just one skillet is really appealing. The pie was delicious and looked great. The recipe is submitted by Benjamin Riggs from the Salish Lodge and Spa, which I think is just outside Seattle. Next up was Tortellini di vitello from Michael Annandono of Michaelangelos in Cleveland. This was a creamy pasta recipe which made a nice mid-week change from our stalwart, which is Pasta Carbonara. Lovely flavours of sage and Proscuitto. A nice little book that hasn’t really be used before and the chicken pot pie will be something we go back to.
