This week was just one recipe from the charity book – Bake for Syria. A collection of recipes to raise money for Syria, Curated by Lilly Vanilla with Clerkenwell Boy and Serena Guen – published a few years ago. The book has recipes from loads of cooks, chefs and bloggers. The recipe we picked was Spiced Lamb Pies by Eric Lanlard (an amazing French pastry chef). The recipe was minced lamb onions with Syrian spices, apricots, and raisins; all topped with a puff pastry lid. It was delicious easy, and a great Friday meal for us. Next week is going to be tricky.
