This week’s book was Antonio Carluccio’s Italian feast. It’s a book that we’ve had for years and regularly made Fegatini from it. This week though, we went for a bunch of recipes we’ve not tried before. We went for a lovely tiramisu which I don’t have photos of, then Chicken Scaloppine with herbs served with Insalata di Fagiolini – a green bean salad which we will make again – cooked green beans with mint, garlic, olive oil, and lemon – awesome. We did a really lovely roasted pepper salad with our steaks. The dish of the week was a fabulous pasta with prawns and chili – Spaghetti Alla Pinuccia. All in all, it was a lovely week’s cooking.

Next week is a bit of an odd one. It’s a book about wine that has a few recipes in it. Watch this space for a different kind of week.
